Position Overview:
As a Senior Account Executive at Monit, you will be responsible for developing and managing relationships with financial institutions & digital banking partners.
Reporting directly to the VP of Sales, you will play a pivotal role in identifying opportunities, articulating our value proposition to partners, delivering tailored solutions, and driving revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Strategy and Execution:
- Drive the full sales cycle from prospecting to close, focusing on community banks, regional banks, national banks, and credit unions.
- Develop and execute account strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets.
- Maintain a robust pipeline and accurately forecast sales performance.
- Client Engagement:
- Build and nurture relationships with key decision-makers, including executives and product leaders at financial institutions.
- Deliver compelling presentations and product demonstrations tailored to client needs.
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product, and customer success, to align on client objectives and ensure seamless onboarding.
- Provide market feedback to influence product enhancements and strategy.
- Industry Expertise:
- Stay up-to-date on trends in fintech, digital banking, and small business banking to position Monit as a thought leader.
- Represent Monit at industry conferences, webinars, and networking events.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of experience in sales or business development, preferably within fintech, digital banking, or SaaS solutions.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a complex, consultative sales environment.
- Deep understanding of the financial services industry, particularly small business banking and digital transformation.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage senior executives and navigate complex sales cycles.
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, startup environment.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience working with financial institutions integrating via platforms like Q2’s Innovation Studio or similar.
- Familiarity with CRM tools such as HubSpot, Salesforce, GMass, Confluence, or equivalent.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to translate data insights into client value.
